I am Sanika - a designer with a passion for creativity, authenticity, and problem solving. I graduated from University of California, Irvine in 2025 with a Bachelor in Informatics with a Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. I am currently seeking full time opportunities as a UX Designer.
I’m endlessly curious and driven by a love of learning, creating, and connecting with people. Empathy is at the core of my work—I genuinely enjoy listening, understanding challenges, and designing solutions that make life easier.
My hope is to build things that make the world a little bit better than when I found it <3
What sets me apart
My versatile skill set. I’m a designer with a strong foundation in UX/UI and graphic design, but I also bring a technical edge—I can code, prototype, and build ideas from scratch. From crafting intuitive interfaces in Figma to developing them in Kotlin and XML for Android or implementing full‑stack solutions with React, Node.js, and MySQL, I thrive on bringing concepts to life end to end. On top of that, I enjoy photography and visual storytelling, which adds another layer of creativity to my work.
At heart, I’m a builder and a problem-solver, excited to turn empathy-driven insights into meaningful, well-crafted products.

My guilty pleasure is watching street food videos in bed
The moon is my favorite celestial body and I love warm, sunny days
I can make and fly kites by myself (my dad taught me how to)
I do EVERYTHING with a trackpad (even designing :P)

I genuinely enjoy cleaning (but doing the dishes are my least favorite chore)
I have a mechanical pencil that I got when I was 12 and still regularly use it
